Pond Dragon

Any suggestions/critiques you can make would be appreciated as I will be coming back to this picture at some point soon (to get rid of the white border, texture the rock, improve the orbs/improve shadows) but am all burnt out on it at the moment!

[UPDATE] I got rid of the border completely because it was annoying me. XD I'm using the finished version of this image as a starting point to a field guide to dragons I want to make (corny, I know, but I really want to do it!) so when I finish and post that I'll move this one to scraps. Thankyou to everyone who critiqued!
